Half of the invited teams for DreamHack ZOWIE Open Bucharest have been revealed by the organizers - Virtus.pro, EnVyUs and FaZe. A total of eight teams will face off at DreamHack ZOWIE Open Bucharest, taking place from September 16-18 in Bucharest's Polyvalent Hall. Two teams will come from a two-stage format of qualifiers held in Europe, while the remaining six will be invited directly based on ranking and results.
Half of the invites have now been handed out, as Virtus.pro, Envy and FaZe will take part in the $100,000 tournament. Virtus.pro have most recently won ELEAGUE Season 1, while Envy are still struggling to make it back into the world's elite. Only two days ago, FaZe announced the departure of Ricardo "fox" Pacheco, who was replaced by Aleksi "allu" Jalli. The participants' list is currently following:
